Landscape Lighting

Why install landscape lighting at your home?

Landscape lighting can be added to anyone’s home. The benefits include practical aspects such as safety and security and expanding the use of your property, to intangible benefits such as creating drama, intrigue and beauty to your estate. One of the great things about landscape lighting is that you are able to highlight the best characteristics of you property while de-emphasizing the less desirable. When all lights are off you essentially have a blank, dark canvass and are able to selectively choose your focal points and areas to be highlighted.
For a modest investment, you can add a level of security that will make you and your wife feel safer, and also make you smile every time you pull into your driveway.
Landscape lighting in your backyard adds another room to your home by creating “outdoor living areas.” Your 12V landscape lighting will act as an invitation to use your patio or porch. With our landscape lighting gently illuminating your backyard, guests will no longer have to be persuaded to leave your kitchen – they will be drawn outdoors by the pull, the allure, of your newly installed garden lights.
In the winter, if you live in a snow area, having the lights on during a snow storm adds a new meaning to ‘winter wonder land’.
The cost of running a 12 volt landscape lighting system is truly pennies per night, even if you are not using LED Landscape Lights. With electricity costing on average in the US .11 /per kilowatt, a 300 watt system (approx. 15 lights) would cost around .03 cents an hour.
So for all the above reasons, there is really no excuse for not installing an outdoor landscape lighting system using 12 volts. As someone said to me, “Now I look out at my backyard at night, and can see my investment in my house, backyard, and property !”
